We held our wedding in this beautiful hotel may 2024 From the minute we stepped into this amazing hotel we both knew we were going to book for our up coming wedding. The staff,and the management are on a different level from any other hotel we have ever stayed , so friendly and welcoming honestly the staff are a credit to this hotel. Our wedding day was perfect. DEE SMYTH the wedding co- ordinator is an angel she went above and beyond for us. From the minute we booked our wedding right up to the day we left after our wedding she minded us both with care and affection we will be forever grateful DEE. The wedding day was beautiful and everything we imagined, our guest were so well looked after the food the amazing drinks reception was more than we ever expected. Massive shout out to conor the manager thank you for everything you were brilliant thank you. For anyone looking for an amazing wedding book here Lynda and Catherine ❤️

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds and lovely rooms . Unfortunately wedding guests and 60th birthday party guests were loud and noisy in smoking area under our window till 0400 hrs ! No one at reception to answer our calls so we had to go down and ask them to be quiete 40 - 50 people still in bar ! We complained and second night moved rooms to 182 supposedly a quiete room but had the hum whine of an engine/ air conditioning unit all night !! With 14 hour drive /journey back to England either side of stay we were shattered . The manager wrote off one nights room fees but they need to look after non function guests as well to prevent this happening in future

Lovely lunch in the bar of the hotel ... had the club sandwich, fries and a pot of tea ... lots of staff so you were not kept waiting. Loved the gardens outside - they have it landscaped well with a nice fountain. Easy to get to with lots of parking and a great setting.

We spent 3 days in this hotel and were charmed by the welcome and kindness of the team. the family room is spacious and comfortable, quiet with a lovely view. we could have stayed in the room without fear of being bored! the swimming pool and aquatic area are great and allow you to have a good time. The exteriors are also very beautiful and well maintained. it is also possible to borrow bikes to walk around Birr. We didn’t want to go !!

My friend held her wedding here and the whole ceremony was perfect from start to finish. The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend the county arms to anyone that is looking for a stunning wedding venue.

Chose this hotel for location and availability at the time and really pleasantly surprised at the room, hotel facilities, and gardens. Will stay here again when we have more time to enjoy.

Great wedding venue, hotel and health spa. Fantastic food ( catered well for vegetarians) very friendly helpful staff. rooms very clean, beds very comfortable lovely coffee machine with coffee pods and useful fridge. Iron and ironing board in room along with kettle etc toiletries provided in wall dispenser. I used the health spa facilities which were great nice pool jacuzzi sauna steam room did smell a bit funny so didn’t use that. Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice and nice quality. Would definitely recommend the County Arms as a wedding venue and as a hotel.

Hotel is nice, with new rooms, renovated areas are really fancy. Staff is very helpful and I enjoyed my stay. Big parking and a lot of options what to do when you stay there.
